Royal Mail price increase

I made a trip to the post office to ship some work off this week and wasn't aware that Royal mail has recently increased its prices. I was shocked to find out that the cost of sending a lucky claw to the States has almost increased by a third. Here at Stitches and Glue we make no profit from shipping our items. We charge the lowest price to our customers and generally make a loss regading our packaging. Unfortunately we will be adjusting our prices accordingly but will try our very best to keep this as low as possible but still ensure a good service

The Workshop has been a little quiet of late. I'm currently working with Handspring Uk making some bits and peices for the Queens Diomond Jubilee celebrations and Becky
is busy working hard on the Olympic opening ceremonies, what a patriotic pair! But that doesn't mean to say that tools are totally down at Stitches and Glue.
Every momnet we do have spare is spent on completing customs and preparing for the Summer Open studios at Cockpit. We've also been invited to take part in
a special fx touring show in conjunction the Strychnin Gallery in September. So lot's going on behind the scenes and we look forward to sharing it all in due time.

Meet Patch

Meet the curious cabbage crunching 'Patch'. So extreme is his addiction to the leafy vegetable, that his lip and right paw remain permanently stained bright green. Limited to just 3, he weighs in at a whopping 14" tall with an arm span of 30"and comes complete with cabbage leaf and all. Fully poasable head and arm armature

Don’t expect much in the way of intelligence from this long eared fuzz ball. Patch here is obsessed with the consumption of his 5 a day, mainly focusing his diet on cabbages. He was retained by a local gardener, whose cabbage patch was completely emptied during the course of one single night. The consequence of his obsession for cabbages is an unpleasant odour and it has also marked him with a bright green bottom lip and right paw. His gentle nature and on-going struggle with his ears, make for an entertaining house guest.

Super short notice but an opportunity came up that we couldn't resist and we are off across the way to a larger studio in Room E3 Cockpit Arts. Loads more natural light and space. It was amazing in our old digs and we will miss all, but the room change will allow for much larger projects. So for now more painting of walls and shelf hanging, pics to follow.
